In August of 2022, i stumbled upon a post on Instagram by Hiroshi Masuko. It was a picture of Mt.Fuji with stars hovering above its peak and lights from the nearby town reflected off a body of water. I was completely mesmerised. With a little more scrolling i found that Hiroshi Masuko also published a book called 200 views of Mt.Fuji.
Inspired by this discovery, i then set out to plan a trip to Japan, to try and do the same.

My take on Mt.Fuji.
November 2022, i landed in Tokyo. Me and my wife spent several days enjoying what Tokyo could offer before boarding the train from Shinjuku to Hakone where we stayed for another few days.
There were some locations in Hakone where you are able to have a glimpse of Mt.Fuji. However we had not such opportunity as its was cloudy. Nevertheless i was not too bothered about it as i knew we would get a better view as the weather forecast sunny days ahead.
We left Hakone to Gotemba to catch a connecting bus to Fujikawaguchiko. The entire journey took us about 4 hours. By the time we reached our hotel, it was already dark.
The very next day, the skies were blue with not a cloud in sight. Loaded my trusty Canon Canonet QL17 Giii with my favourite roll of colour negative the Kodak Vision 3 250D and we headed out to take some pictures.
Enjoy the pictures!
